Referendum Will Solve Nothing, Papers Agree

Ljubljana/Maribor, 27 January - The press comments on the latest development in the issue of the erased, as the Constitutional Court rejected a petition against a referendum on the issue. While Delo says the referendum would be an expensive opinion poll on the legitimacy of the government, Dnevnik says that the problem shows that human rights are extraneous and bendable like chewing gum. Vecer says it will be people who will pay for a referendum that will solve nothing.
