Handball: France Cruise Past Hungary

Ljubljana, 27 January - France have made easy work of the Hungarian team in first round play (group II) of the second-stage at the European Men's Handball Championships. The 29:21 (14:8) win means France has gone to the top of the group II standings. However, the home team will be playing Serbia-Montenegro later this evening: a win could elevate Slovenia back to the top of the group.
