Unions Examining Legality of Tobacna's Scrapping, Want Globalisation Checked
Ljubljana, 28 January - The Association of the Free Trade Unions of Slovenia (ZSSS) on Wednesday vowed to do everything in its power to reduce the number of job losses resulting from the closure of production at the cigarette maker Tobacna Ljubljana. Jovo Labanac, the secretary of the Agriculture and Food Union, said he was convinced that 260 workers will not end up being dismissed at once.
