Primozic Bags World Cup Win on Home Soil

Maribor, 28 January - Slovenian telemark skier David Primozic has bagged a World Cup win on home soil, as he beat out the competition to win Wednesday's sprint classic event in Maribor. Second place went to Kjetil Soevik of Norway; his compatriot Halvor Droepping was third. The women's event was won by Amy N'Guyen of France, ahead of the Norwegian pair of Line Aas Sandnes and Tonja Reusch Berg. Another round of sprint classic events will be held on Thursday; with the telemark classic events on Friday.
