Ljubljana, 29 January - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 30 January:

BRDO PRI KRANJU - Prime Minister Anton Rop is to host a meeting of counterparts from the Quadrilateral - a four nations partnership involving Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and Hungary. The political situation in the region and the future role of the partnership following the EU enlargement is to top the agenda of the talks attended by Croatian PM Ivo Sanader, Hungarian PM Peter Medgyessy and Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi. A number of bilateral talks are also scheduled. The prime ministers are to hold a joint press conference at 1:50 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Austrian Minister of the Economy and Labour Martin Bartenstein is to visit Slovenia at the invitation of Economics Minister Tea Petrin. Bartenstein is also due to hold talks with Europe Minister Janez Potocnik and Labour Minister Vlado Dimovski. A statement to the press is scheduled for 12:00 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to confer awards for exceptional achievements in enterprise at a ceremony to begin at 12:00 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The Statistics Office is to present figures on unemployment and industrial output at 10:30 AM. (STA)

RADENCI - The association of employers in the trade crafts sector is to put on a two-day forum on the challenges of EU membership for Slovenian trade crafts. The forum is to be attended by Labour Minister Vlado Dimovski.

MARIBOR - A telemark classic competition is to be staged at Maribor's Pohorje at 5 PM. (STA)

CELJE - The 13th "Days of Comedy" are to begin with a political satire "Dragi Kucan, ti pisem" (Dear Kucan), a production of the Slovenian National Theatre company of Nova Gorica. (STA)
