Gov't Agrees with Potocnik for Commissioner

Ljubljana, 29 January - The government has agreed with PM Anton Rop to propose Europe Minister Janez Potocnik the Slovenian candidate for a European commissioner. His appointment now depends on EU institutions, although it is the EU practice to follow the proposal of individual countries, and candidacies tend to be harmonised beforehand.
