Handball: Germany in the Semis, Hungary Out

Ljubljana, 29 January - Germany easily beat Hungary in the last game of the second stage at the European Handball Championships. Despite an early push which gave them a two-goal lead in the 6th minute, Hungary was unable to sustain the German pressure, going down with 23:28 (12:16). Germany is thus in the semis, while Hungary are out of the competition.
