Handball: Slovenia in the Semi-Finals

Ljubljana, 29 January - Slovenia beat France 27:22 (12:9 )in the last round of the second stage of competition at the European Handball Championships, thereby securing a place in the semi-finals alongside Germany. Playing like men possessed in front of an home crowd of over 6,000, the Slovenians built up a four-goal lead in the 21st minute after a 5:0 series, and never let go.
