Handball: Croatia Beats Russia, Move on to Semis

Celje, 29 January - Croatia drew with Russia 24:24 (13:12) but nevertheless managed to move on to the semi finals of the European Handball Championships. The nervous game saw many turnovers, but Russia never managed to increase the gap to more than three goals, which would earn it a place in the semi finals. The Russian's fate was sealed just over a minute before the end, when Dzomba scored an equaliser for Croatia.
