Unemployment Structure Cause for Concern

Ljubljana, 30 January - While the unemployment rate is reatively low in Slovenia, the structure of unemployed is rather more problematic. The figures for Q3 of 2003 show that the LFS unemployment rate is higher among women than among men. The rate is the highest among young people and the lowest among the elderly population. Moreover it is the highest among those with low education, a Statistics Office official told the press on Friday.
