One Quarter of Slovenians Die Too Soon
Ljubljana, 1 February - A survey on premature mortality in Slovenia in 2002 showed that 26 percent of the population died before turning 65. The most common causes of premature death are tumours, cardiovascular conditions, injuries and poisonings, said Janja Sesok, who carried out the survey for the Public Health Institute.
