Handball: Germany Defeat Slovenia to Take European Title

Ljubljana, 1 February - Germany, on a roll since the second stage of the tournament, have beaten a brave but sloppy Slovenian team in the final of the 6th European Men's Handball Championships. It was "third time lucky" for Germany, as they dominated play to make up for heart-breaking losses in the finals of the 2002 European Championships and the 2003 World Championships.
