CPO Gives Conditional Approval to Mercator's Takeover of Zivila
Ljubljana, 2 February - The Competition Protection Office (CPO) has issued conditional approval to the acquisition of retailer Zivila by rival retailer Mercator. In approving the takeover, the CPO called on Mercator to sell or lease out at least 10 shops acquired in the NW Gorenjsko region for at least one year. Mercator has 18 months to comply.
