Slovenska Matica Celebrates 140 Years

Ljubljana, 4 February - Slovenska matica, an association publishing Slovenian scientific works and fiction, is celebrating 140 years. To mark the event, President Janez Drnovsek will present the organisation today an honorary order of freedom for its extraordinary contribution in promoting Slovenian books, as well as culture and science among Slovenians.
