BUDAPEST, Hungary - Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor is to attend the 16th meeting of the European Parliament president with speakers from acceding and candidate countries.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Representatives of three parliamentary parties, SLS, SDS and NSi, are to attend a congress of the European People's Party (EPP), focusing on preparations for the June elections to European Parliament.

LJUBLJANA - A ceremonial session is to mark the 140th anniversary of Slovenska matica, an association publishing Slovenian scientific works and fiction. On the occasion, it is to be decorated by a state order by President Janez Drnovsek.
