The Session of the Yugoslav Presidency

Belgrade, 28 August - The Yugoslav Presidency reiterated its demand for the establishment of a cease-fire. The members of the Presidency have appointed a Committee, which will hold new talks with the members of Croatia and of the Serbian minority in Croatia. The Presidency was informed on the evaluations of its cease-fire Monitoring Committee. The Presidency resolved that work on the document on the future of Yugoslavia should proceed at an accelerated pace, for which purpose a meeting is to be convened on September 4, of the Presidents of the republics, the Presidents of the republics' Presidencies, and the representatives of the federal bodies, at which the Draft Agreement on the Future Relations in Yugoslavia and the functioning of the federation during the transitional period are to be discussed.
