A Protest Meeting of the Mothers of Yugoslav Army Soldiers in Zagreb

Zagreb, 28 August - Following the appeal made by the Croatian organization of mothers whose sons are conscripts in the Yugoslav Army, a meeting of mothers of conscripts from the whole of Yugoslavia will take place tomorrow at 1 p.m. in front of the Yugoslav Army Headquarters in Kneza Miloša street in Belgrade. At this protest meeting, the mothers will demand that the army discharge those of their sons, who have already completed their compulsory military training and that those who will remain in the army are not sent to the battlefields in Croatia. The mothers from Croatia, who will be joined by parents from all over Yugoslavia, said the organization, will remain in front of the building until their demands are met.
