Europe Must Continue Uniting, Parliament Speakers Say

Budapest, 4 February - The May enlargement of the EU with ten acceding countries does not mean the conclusion but rather the continuation of European unification, a process that has to integrate the Western Balkans as soon as possible. This was put down in a declaration by President of the European Parliament Pat Cox and the speakers of national parliaments of the EU acceding and candidate countries as they wrapped up their meeting in Budapest on Wednesday. Slovenia was represented by Speaker Borut Pahor.
