Tourism Generating Higher Foreign Currency Inflow
Ljubljana, 5 February - Foreign currency inflow from tourism amounted to EUR 1.1bn in the year to November 2003 and exceeded by 3 percent the figure for the same period in 2002. Meanwhile Slovenians spent EUR 625.8m on holidays abroad, up 4 percent, data provided by the Chamber of Commerce (GZS) Association for Tourism and Catering indicates.
