Dr. Drnovšek in Strassbourg

Ljubljana, 30 August - Dr. Drnovšek, Slovene member of the Yugoslav Presidency, departed for Strassbourg today, where he will meet with the Secretary General of the European Council, Ms. Catherine Lalumiere. Dr. Janez Drnovšek clarified the situation in Slovenia and Croatia. Official Strassbourg understands Slovenia's position and is of the opinion that the recognition of the republic's independence will occur in the near future.
