Helsinki Monitor Demands Immediate Remedy for the Erased

Ljubljana, 10 February - The Helsinki Monitor of Slovenia (HMS) wans a "package solution" to the issue of erased citizens, and demands that the authorities reinstate their residency status without any background checks. The erased are also entitled to citizenship, and should be reimbursed for possible lost pensions and health benefits, HMS president Neva Miklavcic Predan told the press Tuesday.
