Health Reform Begins in April with Streamlined Funding of Hospitals

Ljubljana, 10 February - As of 1 April, Slovenian hospitals will switch to a new system of financing whereby the treatment of each patient will be classified into one of 661 "groups of comparable cases". The new system will in fact mean the launch of the planned health reform, Health Minister Dusan Keber told the press on Tuesday.
