Drnovsek: No EU Newcomer Has Seen Its Situation Deteriorate

Ljubljana, 10 February - No newcomer to the EU has seen its situation deteriorate after joining the bloc, President Janez Drnovsek has told an interview. Although Slovenia will not be getting as much EU funds as for example Ireland did when it joined, it will still have to make good use of this money, Drnovsek told TV Slovenija on Tuesday.
