Up to 35-Hour Waiting Periods for Lorries on Italian Border

Šempeter pri Gorici, 10 February - The traffic holdup of trucks at the Slovenian-Italian border crossing Vrtojba-St. Andrea in the wake of a strike of Italian forwarders is getting longer, the Nova Gorica customs office said Tuesday evening. Lorry drivers now have to wait up to 35 hours to get into Italy.
