Ljubljana, 31 August - The Minister of Communications and Transport Marjan Kranjc, after talking over the telephone with General Viktor Zupančič, Director of the Federal Flight Control Service, informed STA that General Zupančič told him that Slovenia's airspace had been ordered closed due to an aircraft carrying a shipment of arms and explosives which was forced to land on Pleso Airport in Zagreb and which was allegedly scheduled to land on Brnik Airport. Minister Kranjc denied this allegation. Both the airports in Maribor, and in Portorož, are also closed. Their runways have also been blocked for safety reasons.
