Commission's Spending Plans Good Base for Talks, Says Potocnik

Ljubljana, 11 February - The proposal for the EU's spending in the 2007-2013 budget period unveiled by the European Commission on Tuesday, is a good base for further talks. On the basis of the document it can be assessed that Slovenia will probably not be a net contributor to the European budget in this period, Europe Minister Janez Potocnik and government advisor Mojmir Mrak said Wednesday.
