Largest Shrovetide Festivities Ready to Begin

Ptuj, 14 February - This year's traditional Shrovetide festivities in the city of Ptuj - which are to kick off today for the 44th year in a row - will be the last to last 11 days. As of next year, the event is expected to last only three days, head of the Ptuj Tourist Organisation Tadej Bojnec has told a press conference.
