Common Ground Sought on Protection of Adriatic Behind Closed Doors

Trieste, 12 February - Officials from Slovenia, Italy and Croatia have wrapped up their first meeting on the controversial Croatian declaration of a protective fisheries and ecological zone in the Adriatic. There was no official statement made after the closed door session in Trieste on Thursday, but the Slovenian delegation has indicated that the agenda focused on the search for common ground on the protection of the Adriatic.
