Mayors Remove Fence Between Cities at Slovenian-Italian Border

Nova Gorica, 12 February - Mayor of the Slovenian city of Nova Gorica Mirko Brulc and his counterpart from the Italian neighbouring city of Gorizia Vittorio Brancati on Thursday tore down the railing that had divided the two cities for 60 years. This will allow the construction of a square that will host EU enlargement celebrations on 30 April.
