Ljubljana, 15 February - Topping headlines this week was the decision of the Telekom Slovenija board that the company's Internet subsidiary Siol was to be integrated into the telco. The board's chairman Peter Grasek argued that this was for Telekom's good, however, the government was not so sure, expressing its opposition to the move out of legal concerns. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anton Rop has announced that the government is studying the possibility of introducing tax cuts for the food industry, which is likely to find the EU hard going.
