MONDAY, 16 February

NEW DELHI, India - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is due to begin a two-day official visit to India.

LJUBLJANA - Albanian President Alfred Moisiu is scheduled to begin a two-day official visit to Slovenia.

LJUBLJANA - Petrol, the leading Slovenian petrol trader, and Slovenia's largest wireless operator Mobitel are to hold a joint press conference to present a new way of paying at the petrol stations.

TEL AVIV, Israel - Culture Minister Andreja Rihter is scheduled to kick off a three-day official visit to Israel.

LJUBLJANA - Zavod Sv. Stanislava, a Catholic secondary school in Ljubljana, is to hold a press conference after the conclusion of a two-day seminar on the identity of Catholic school in the 21st-century Europe.

TUESDAY, 17 February

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary foreign policy committee is to hold a session which will debate the ratification of the North Atlantic Treaty, among others.

LJUBLJANA - Industrial unions that are part of the Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia will present plans for a token strike.

LJUBLJANA - The new non-resident Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Slovenia Noellie Marie Beatrice Damiba is scheduled to hand a copy of her credentials to Foreign Ministry State Secretary Andrej Logar.

WEDNESDAY, 18 February

TEL AVIV, Israel - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is due to begin a two-day official visit to Israel.

LJUBLJANA - The National Council, the upper house of parliament, is due to present its opinion on the proposed income tax and corporate income tax bills as it convenes for a session.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Environment Minister Janez Kopac is scheduled to attend a two-day UN-sponsored ministerial meeting on biological diversity.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's third wireless operator Vega is set to present business results for 2003.

THURSDAY, 19 February

LJUBLJANA - The Government Office for Structural Policies and Regional Development and the European Commission delegation in Slovenia will present the Commission's third cohesion report.

LJUBLJANA - The government is set to hold its weekly session.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Justice Minister Ivan Bizjak and Justice Minister Rado Bohinc are scheduled to participate in a meeting of EU justice and interior ministers.
