Pahor: Easier to Tear Down Fence Than Prejudice
Komen, 15 February - National Assembly Speaker Borut Pahor has underscored that the Slovenian language will soon become one of the official languages of the European Union. Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the torching of several villages in SW Slovenia by occupying forces during World War II, Pahor said that the fact Slovenian would be an official language of the EU was an enthralling event, given that only 60 years ago force was used in an attempt to root it out.
