LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary foreign policy committee is to convene at 2 PM to debate the ratification of the North Atlantic Treaty, among other things. (STA)

LJUBLJANA/NOVO MESTO - Albanian President Alfred Moisiu is scheduled to meet the head of the opposition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) Janez Jansa at noon and visit the headquarters of pharmaceuticals company Krka at 3.10 PM before wrapping up his two-day official visit to Slovenia. (STA)

NEW DELHI, India - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to open the Slovenian Embassy and speak at the New Delhi Institute of International Relations about the role of small countries in Europe before concluding his visit to India.

LJUBLJANA - Industrial unions that are part of the Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia will present plans for a token strike at 11 AM. (STA)
