Church Wants Higher Tax Relief for Children

Ljubljana, 17 February - The Church is protesting against changes to income tax legislation, which it believes would severely deteriorate the status of families with more children. "The message of this legislation is that childless or one-child families are desired; this is unfair to those who have the courage to accept more children, " the Commission for Justice and Peace at the Slovenian Bishops Conference said Tuesday.
