TEL AVIV, Israel - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to begin a two-day official visit to Israel upon the invitation of his Israeli counterpart Silvan Shalom. Bilateral cooperation, EU affairs and the Middle East crisis are to top the agenda of Rupel's meetings with several Israeli ministers. (STA)

JERUSALEM, Israel - Culture Minister Andreja Rihter is to meet her host, Israeli Minister of Education, Culture and Sport Limor Livnat, as she wraps up a three-day working visit to Israel. (STA)

MOSCOW, Russia - National Council President Janez Susnik is to attend an international conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the new Russian constitution. Participants are to come from European parliaments, the Commonwealth of Independent States and several other countries.

LJUBLJANA - Justice Minister Ivan Bizjak and his aides are to present court statistics for 2003 at a press conference scheduled for 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The National Council, the upper house of parliament, is to present its opinion on the proposed income tax and corporate income tax bills as it convenes for a session.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's third wireless operator Vega is set to present business results for 2003 and its plans for 2004; at 11 AM. (STA)

VIENNA, Austria - A two-day meeting of education ministers from Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the first of its kind, is to be attended by Slovenia's Slavko Gaber. The meeting is part of the Regional Partnership, an Austria-sponsored initiative emerging in 1997.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Environment Minister Janez Kopac is scheduled to attend a two-day UN-sponsored ministerial meeting on biological diversity.

LJUBLJANA - Events accompanying the World Ski-Flying Championships in Planica and the 43rd Vitranc Cup in Kranjska Gora are to be presented by tourist organisations.

SAN FERNANDO, Spain - The Slovenian national team is to play Poland in an exhibition match at 8 PM. (STA)
