OZP Backs Bill to Ratify Washington Treaty

Ljubljana, 17 February - The parliamentary foreign policy committee (OZP) has backed the bill on the ratification of the North Atlantic Treaty, asking parliament to ratify the document and consequently Slovenia's NATO accession. The decision was made in a 14:0 vote on Tuesday, with Aurelio Juri of the coalition United List (ZLSD) abstaining.
