Gov't Passes 2004 Sport Funding Programme

Ljubljana, 19 February - The government has passed the 2004 national sports programme, which allocates SIT 3.1bn (EUR 13.1m) of budget funds for sports programmes. SIT 911m (EUR 3.8m) are to be spend on sports infrastructure investments, while SIT 2.2bn (EUR 9.3m) will be handed out to sports associations, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport said Thursday.
