RTV Slovenija Looking to Come Out of Red with Cost Cutting
Ljubljana, 19 February - Cost cutting will be the order of the year at Slovenia's public broadcaster, Radiotelevizija Slovenija (RTVS), its managing director Aleks Stakul revealed at Thursday's session of the RTVS council. The council debated a business report in which it is evident that RTVS made a loss of SIT 2.6bn (EUR 11m) in 2003. The company's debt now totals SIT 9.7bn (EUR 40.9m).
