Ljubljana, 22 February - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 23 February:

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and Europe Minister Janez Potocnik are to attend a regular monthly meeting of foreign ministers from EU member states and acceding countries, as they hold a first debate on the recently submitted EU financial perspective for the period 2007-2013. BRUSSELS, Belgium - Europe Minister and Slovenia's European commissioner candidate Janez Potocnik is to meet European Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen. A press conference is scheduled for 2.30 PM. (STA)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to attend a meeting of the OSCE Troika on the situation in Georgia, Belarus, Moldavia and Western Balkans-related issues. Slovenia is to assume the OSCE presidency in 2005.

SKOPJE, Macedonia - Defence Minister Anton Grizold is to start an official visit to Macedonia. He is scheduled to meet his Macedonian counterpart Vlado Buckovski, Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski, and PM Branko Crvenkovski. During the visit, a programme of bilateral cooperation for 2004 is to be signed.

LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to convene for its February session at 2 PM. Topping the agenda will be the ratification of the North Atlantic Treaty, which is due on Tuesday. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A team of three European veterinary inspectors from the Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) are due to begin a five-day visit to Slovenia to examine the country's monitoring of toxic substances in animals and products of animal origin.

BARCELONA, Spain - A draw for the groups of the second part of the Euroleague is due at 1 PM.
