Peterle for a Two-Tier EU Only If Permitted by Treaties

Ljubljana, 23 February - Alojz Peterle, the chair of the parliamentary European affairs commission, on Monday supported a two-tier Europe only in the case the Constitution or other EU treaties permitted it. Participation in such projects of closer integration should be open to all member states under equal conditions, he told the press.
