Fifty Percent of Slovenians Avid to Join the EU

Brussels, 23 February - Fifty percent of Slovenians see EU membership as something good, while 37 percent oppose it, showed a Eurobarometer survey on the attitude of citizens from the EU and its acceding countries towards the Union. The findings, published on Monday, reveal that enlargement support is higher in the acceding countries than in the old member states.
