Trade Unions Call for Reduction of Gap between Minimum & Basic Wages

Ljubljana, 23 February - Urging employers to start realising the wage-related part of the one-year-old social agreement, trade unions proposed on Monday that real wage growth should be ensured through an effective mechanism in the new pay policy agreement. Pay rises should gradually be implemented by narrowing the gap between the minimum wage and basic wages.
