NATO Membership to Bring More Security, MPs Say

Ljubljana, 24 February - The parliament with a large majority of 68 votes ratified the North Atlantic Treaty on Tuesday, with only three MPs of the opposition National Party (SNS) voting against and two MPs abstaining. A two-thirds majority in the 90-seat parliament was required for the ratification.
