Outgoing Archbishop Thanks the Pope for Confidence

Vatican City, 24 February - Outgoing Ljubljana Archbishop and Slovenian Metropolitan Franc Rode, who has recently been appointed to a senior post in the Vatican, on Tuesday thanked Pope John Paul II for the appointment and his confidence. "This confidence is very personal," Rode said after a private audience with the pontiff.
