Ljubljana, 25 February - Painter and illustrator Marlenka Stupica is Slovenia's nominee for the 2004 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. She has been nominated by the Slovenian section of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) and the Slovenian Writers' Association.
