Slovenia Can Learn from Finland' Advance in Science and Technology

Helsinki, 26 February - Finland allocates 3.4 percent of its GDP for science and research and is the leader in Europe, while it also tops global competition rankings. The country has managed to successfully combine the education, science and corporate sectors. Its experience is therefore of great interest for Slovenia, which is to increase its science budget to 1.7 percent of the GDP by the end of the year.
