Situation in Acquis Harmonisation Not Alarming, Potocnik Says

Ljubljana, 26 February - Slovenia still needs to adopt 39 laws prior to its EU entry, while 7 laws have to be passed immediately after 1 May, Europe Minister Janez Potocnik told a news conference after the cabinet session on Thursday. Potocnik is though convinced that the situation is not alarming, since the experiences of other countries show that work intensifies immediately before the entry.
