Gorenje Boosts 2003 Profit By One Fifth

Velenje, 27 February - Home appliances maker Gorenje reported unaudited net sales revenues of SIT 128.9bn (EUR 542.6m) last year, which is an increase of 7.8 percent over 2002 and 1.3 percent below the business plans. Net profit meanwhile jumped by 22.4 percent to SIT 4.78bn (EUR 20.1m), exceeding plans by 5.7 percent, the Velenje-based company said on Wednesday.
