SKB Bank Doubles Operating Profit

Ljubljana, 27 February - The bank SKB reported an operating profit of SIT 5.08bn (EUR 21.4m) for 2003, twice as much as the year before. According to unaudited results released Friday, the net profit stood at SIT 85m (EUR 358,000). Total assets increased from SIT 361.5bn (EUR 1.52bn) at the end of 2002 to SIT 408.3bn (EUR 1.72bn).
