Resolution on National Culture Programme Adopted

Ljubljana, 27 February - A number of public debates have been held on the 2004-2007 National Culture Programme (NCP) so as to get a strategic document that would be based on the broadest possible consensus, Culture Minister Andreja Rihter said as she presented a draft resolution on the NCP to parliament on Friday. After outlining their views and pointing to cutbacks in budgetary funds for culture, MPs adopted the resolution in a 61:0 vote.
